The
Campaign
|
Parrsboro's
Dinosaurs
|
| "Where are
the Dinosaurs?" was
a question asked by many of the children visiting the Fundy Geological
Museum. It expressed the publics desire to see large dinosaur skeletons
on display in the Museum’s gallery.
You might
like to buy a bone
as a special family or class project, or simply because you believe in
the importance of learning about Bay of Fundy fossils. Investing
in the Buy-A-Bone Campaign at the Museum is an important investment in
the Museum’s education programs.

The
Plateosaurus Exhibit
|
|
| The Fundy
Geological Museum
launched the "Buy-A-Bone Campaign” in 1998. A 6 metre long
Plateosaurus
skeleton, standing 2.5 metres high is now installed in the Museum’s
exhibit
gallery. |
The full
size skeleton is
thrilling the children (and adult) visitors, providing a greater
appreciation
of these interesting dinosaurs, and a more satisfying museum
experience. |
